Catarina and Ana made our holiday even better, thank you both. We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated, pet-friendly house with a double bedroom. It had all the appliances and furniture we needed for a comfortable holiday. The wood burner was superb and made the room so cozy, perfect for a literary season. The central heating was great, which is rare in Portugal.

The fireplace was the highlight of our weekend in this charming stone house. The owner kindly topped up the wood so we could keep enjoying the cozy atmosphere. We stayed in the studio, which was just right for two, with a kitchenette and utensils. It’s also well located, close to Seia and the hiking trails of Serra da Estrella. Highly recommended!

The village feels peaceful but still lively, with mountain dogs, sheep, and local cats around. Casas da Ribeira, just outside Seia in the Serra da Estrela, made a wonderful retreat for us. Catarina and Ana were fantastic hosts, attentive to our needs and full of good suggestions. They also make delicious jam. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, a good size for a small family or a group of friends. The apartments have outdoor space and/or a fireplace, which adds to the holiday feel. I can’t say enough about our trip. Definitely stay here!

The owner was lovely, and the rooms, living room, and house were all beautiful. They even did our laundry for free. When we asked about ordering a birthday cake, we got a superb one from a local bakery, along with champagne. I can’t describe how nice this place is. You won’t regret staying here!

The owner was friendly and always ready to help, and the scenery is wonderful. It’s easy to get to anywhere in Serra da Estrela or Seia City. Several houses are available to rent, all comfortable and spacious. Each morning, a delicious breakfast made with regional products is delivered to your door. A lovely place for families or solo travelers, and definitely worth coming back to.
