The place was old, poorly maintained, and disgusting, with lots of cockroaches and bugs. Out back, it looked like a parking lot for RVs without any facilities, and it really was a dump. While I was there, the owners held a party: people were drunk and screaming, music was loud, and there was nowhere to park my car. I chose to leave early after being promised a refund, but they tried to charge me anyway. Absolute fraud!
I live nearby, and noisy guests at this place regularly disturb us, with loud music in the daytime and karaoke on balconies that goes past midnight. If you’re coming to this peaceful, quiet area, be aware that the host seems indifferent to the neighbours’ privacy.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the house felt cozy and lovely. It’s in a quiet Portuguese village, just a 3-minute drive from the ocean. I’d also recommend going for a walk in Sesimbra. ❤️
The location was great, and our host was really nice. The windows and doors could probably use an upgrade.
