The meat was top quality, and this was one of the best meals we've had in Portugal. A wonderful family restaurant with a brilliant chef. Highly recommend!!

The care and love Antonio and Ines put into looking after every customer really has to be experienced. They serve excellent local produce, from vegetables and wines to fish and meat, with amazing hospitality from this father and daughter. Ines is a wonderful chef and also the architect who brought the place to life. The restaurant and hotel stand on land that's part of a long family story, and the family literally built the restaurant themselves. It's remarkable to find this in such a small, quiet Portuguese village. The restaurant is open in summer, May to September. Outside the season, call ahead to make a reservation. Thank you so much, guys. One of our best nights in Portugal so far.

We loved the food, especially the superb Moqueca and coconut dessert. The regional smoked mackerel was a lovely way to start. Service was fantastic, attentive and completely genuine. António, his daughter Inés, and the whole team look after guests in such a warm, familiar way. António's family has run a food and wine shop in Sesimbra for five generations, and I'm sure we'll return to eat here and explore the shop.

The lapas, moqueca de corvina e camarão, and fish soup were divine. Service is superb, and the family love behind this place is obvious: they own it, run it, and literally built the restaurant themselves. We're locals, and these days this is simply the best restaurant in Meco. Don't miss it!

The owners were so nice and helpful, even helping us pick wines to take home. The food was amazing, and they also have a few good vegetarian options.
