We always choose Casa do Serro when we’re in Portugal. It feels like a home away from home, thanks in no small part to Manuela and George, who are wonderful hosts. The mansion has spectacular views and beautiful antiques throughout. Our room was spotless and luxurious, with lovely high ceilings.

At Casa do Serro, Manuela and George made our five days feel unforgettable. We felt more like good family friends than hotel guests, with such warmth, openness, and generosity if you let yourself be open to it. The rooms each have their own thoughtful style, with valuable antique furniture, and everything was spotless and in excellent condition. Breakfast was far better than what large hotels serve. The earlier reviewer’s photos already say it all.
