After a long trip, I was exhausted, and the first room I got had an awful bed. There wasn't another room free, and I couldn't keep my voice down, but Lorenzo at the front desk handled it with so much patience. He said he'd move me the next day, and he did exactly that. He's a five-star person, and the staff are five-star too. Thanks to him, my stay ended up being pleasant. The hotel itself feels nowhere near four-star quality, barely three-star to me. It's old, hugely overpriced, and breakfast is more like B&B quality.

For a short stay it's decent, and the staff were friendly. Check-in was easy, and the room was clean, though dated and missing some of the small details I'd expect from a four-star hotel. Breakfast was a real letdown: very few choices, and what was offered didn't seem fresh or carefully prepared. The place didn't quite meet four-star expectations, and anyone looking for luxury or close attention to detail may be disappointed.

The pool is lovely, and breakfast is pretty decent. The hotel has a nice old-school, classy feel, and the rooms are really spacious, but they could use a makeover since the place seems past its best days. Just don't count on the shower working.

The pool advertised by the hotel was out of service, so there wasn't one available. Breakfast was decent, with warm baked pastries, coffee made to order, juice, yoghurt, cereal, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, and beans.

We arrived to find the hotel closed for maintenance, even though the money had been charged. No one had bothered to tell us. I called the number on the locked door and was told they'd follow up about a refund, but I never heard back. Meanwhile, the hotel was still listed as bookable on booking.com, with no mention on its website that it was closed.
