The service deserves a mention too. The staff really help you relax and feel looked after, without having to think about anything. The views are incredible wherever you are, whether at the pool, spa, golf course, in your room, or having breakfast or dinner. Sintra's forests and natural landscape look different in the morning and at sunset, and it feels magical. There are lovely restaurants, an amazing breakfast, and peaceful walks in nature. This is a hotel worth experiencing at least once, and one of the best I've ever stayed in.

The resort is huge and absolutely gorgeous, with lovely fresh, clean air that makes it a perfect place to unwind. We had a wonderful experience at Penha Longa Resort. From check-in, the welcome was warm and lovely, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. Highly recommended!

We went back for a second couples ritual massage, which we'd never done before, because the first was the best we'd ever experienced. Sara, Vilma, and Filipa were exceptional. The suite's views of the Sintra mountains also made for a peaceful, romantic honeymoon setting, and the whole property was immaculate. The daily personal touches kept adding up. Housekeeping left a different surprise treat each time they serviced the room, and turndown brought Ucal chocolate milk after we casually mentioned wanting to try it. Room service was consistently excellent, with Indera prompt, warm, and attentive every time. The same care and professionalism was clear behind the scenes. Food was outstanding across the board, with Midori unforgettable and among the best meals we've ever had. Paco from food & beverage found us last-minute reservations at the Michelin restaurants on property and added thoughtful honeymoon touches to each dinner. At breakfast, Kelly remembered our preferences from the first day and had our drinks waiting at the table each morning. Paco and Kelly arranging the chocolate milk became one of our favorite moments of the trip. When we extended our honeymoon, Carolina graciously moved us into one of the best suites on the property. My Titanium Elite status was warmly acknowledged at check-in, but her generosity stood out. The bellman also greeted us by name every time we came and went, and opened our car door without hesitation. That kind of recognition and attentiveness is rare and says a lot about the service culture. We found champagne and custom chocolates in the suite to mark our honeymoon. From the beginning, the team made us feel genuinely valued. Every department worked at an elite level, and the service felt thoughtful, human, and deeply personal. Penha Longa Resort made our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team. We'll absolutely return for this level of hospitality.

We were traveling with our one-year-old, and the staff made the trip special from check-in onward. They gave us a larger room on the first floor with access to a yard and hammocks, which was lovely and helped us make wonderful memories. It's some of the best hotel staff I've experienced. If we're back in Portugal, we'd definitely stay at Penha Longha again.
