Sintra and its sights are really close by, and Lisbon is just a short distance away. The hostess was great. You can also head out into the countryside.

With its pool and garden, this is a lovely place to slow down, whether you’re travelling as a couple or with family. There are three friendly, welcoming dogs and a cat around the garden, too. The property belongs to two very nice sisters, who have kept Quinta Boca do Lobo in a charming, picturesque style. Each room has a vintage feel. It’s peaceful and welcoming, just a few minutes from Sintra’s historic centre.
