Villa Estefânia

Francisco and his wife were gracious hosts, and their hospitality made our Sintra trip memorable. The villa has historic, classic charm, with breakfast served there, and it's on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown Sintra. Our room was spotless and well decorated, with bathrobes, a mini kitchen, fridge, microwave, stove, and everything else needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Francisco and his wife were excellent hosts, with helpful suggestions for what to see and where to go in town. The Villa is a quiet, comfortable place, a short walk from the train and bus station, with connections downtown and to all the Castles in the area. We had a fantastic, absolutely delicious breakfast. My wife and I stayed one night while visiting Sintra, and we'd definitely return and recommend it.

The host went out of their way to help us. The place is beautiful, full of antiques, and breakfast was fantastic in a room packed with interesting things. If you love cats, you'll be especially happy here. A really delightful find, and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

We had outside space, plus fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, and the room had lovely linen, tea, coffee, and what we needed to make something easy to eat. The Rosa room would be easier to use with a hook or two and an empty bathroom shelf, since we struggled to find places for our things. There was also a small shower issue, which I'm sure the host will sort out. It's easy to walk around Sintra from here, and the station is a convenient 5 min walk for the Sintra loop Buses and trains. The hosts' sweet, friendly cats tried to nose into the rooms, but they aren't allowed in. Parking was easy for us off season, against a wall out front. We didn't use the car on palace days. We spent 3 nights in March at this charming, clean place with lovely hosts. The included breakfast was outstanding. It was continental, but also had eggs, little sausages, and bacon.
