It felt more like a family estate than a hotel, with plenty of room to unwind quietly even though a few families were there. Jose gave us a warm, home-like welcome, and the boutique feel was lovely. The rooms were outstanding, and the pool and surrounding facilities were great. Breakfast wasn’t included, but it was excellent and served with care. The only thing that put me off a little was the lack of designated smoking areas. That seems to be more of a Portugal thing, so I wouldn’t hold it against the host. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Jose was so helpful, sharing Google lists of local recommendations that we were able to use. Breakfast was great every morning, with a good choice. We spent a week at Quinta Santa Margarida in October, and it made our first visit to Tavira truly lovely. Our room was nicely designed and spacious, with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The landscaping added to the beauty of the property. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to Tavira and stay here again. Thanks so much to Jose and his team.

Just a couple of minutes from downtown Tavira, the property was incredibly convenient and had plenty of parking. It’s a peaceful, gorgeous country setting, and our room was clean, quiet and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. Jose and the team were welcoming, kind and helpful. When we checked in, Jose sent beach, restaurant and tour recommendations, and they were all incredible. The pizza restaurant was SO good! My husband and I loved every second of our four-night stay in August 2025. The Charm House is a real oasis, and we’d definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jose!

The quiet location gave us two very relaxing nights, and with the pool and nearby dining room where breakfast is served, it had a bit of a resort feel. Our room had a tasteful, classic interior with lots of attention to detail, and it came with air conditioning. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was served so nicely. Tavira nearby has some sights to see, plus lots of restaurants and markets, and the host shared recommendations too. We had a good vacation and stay at Quinta Santa Margarida. Thanks to Ms. Elisabeth for taking good care of us. If we visit the Algarve again, we’ll consider staying here.

Tavira is charming, with plenty of good restaurants, and it’s an easy drive from the inn. After a day out, this quiet and lovely place was a relaxing spot to come back to. My son and I stayed three nights in a two-bedroom cottage, warmly decorated and just the right size. The staff were wonderful and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it and would love to return.
