Taah Billa Guest House

I felt comfortable and safe here, and as a solo female traveller I'd happily book again. The place was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a useful kitchenette and a good supermarket a walk away over the river. Two of the front rooms share a bathroom. The big windows are lovely to sit in and look out at the river, though the road location means it can get a bit noisy at times. It's right in the town centre.

The location was just about perfect for me, and I could walk to everything I needed since I was traveling without a car. The place was clean and peaceful, and Pedro and his colleague were welcoming and helpful. I was glad to have a shared kitchen while traveling with a child. It's friendly, central, and quiet.

Pedro was a really kind host and happy to share recommendations. The place was clean, the WiFi was good, and the location was very good. My one complaint was that the shower pressure and temperature kept varying a bit, though it seems like something that could be fixed.

I was surprised there was a communal kitchen for guests. It's a clean, friendly place, right near everything. Just to be clear, it's a hostel.
