A big thank you to the staff for their warm welcome, especially Pedro at the front desk. He carefully pointed out nearby attractions and explained how to switch the parking to a 24-hour ticket. We also met the owner, and the family-focused way the hotel is run really made us feel at home. Our clean, comfortable room was quiet at night, and opening the balcony window gave us a lovely view of the church in Tomar. With Convento de Cristo closed for renovation right now, we plan to come back to Tomar, and HOTEL REPUBLICA will be our place to stay again.

The staff made this a five-star stay for me. Everyone was kind, helpful, and accommodating, and Pedro especially was outstanding. The hotel is in a great spot for touring town, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but breakfast was quite nice.

The staff were excellent, with special thanks to Mateus and Beatriz. Tomar is one of Portugal's gems, and the hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Templar history and its impact on Portugal.

Jose welcomed us at breakfast and showed us around, which we really enjoyed. The rooms are beautifully designed, service was great, and the hotel sits right on the town's square. We had a lovely stay.

The hotel's design is modern while still keeping Portuguese culture. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a small balcony, a comfortable mattress, and wonderful pillows. Breakfast was amazing, and the location couldn't be better. The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful.
