With a one-year-old, being woken around 3 a.m. by drunk guests partying in the halls, on the stairs, in the lobby, and outside was a real problem. It carried on until about 5, and staff made no effort to stop it. We hadn't been warned that roughly 300 teenagers aged 17 and 18 had booked every other room. The breakfast was average, though the coffee was okay. Our room was very dated and basic, the TV didn't work and was about laptop-screen size, and the plastic sheet under the bed linen made it hot and uncomfortable. The pillows were awful too. One of the worst hotel stays I've had.

We were passing through Tomar by train for the day, and the hotel kindly kept our bags while we went for a walk. So thoughtful of them.

Clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a reasonable price. It's a very good hotel for pilgrims and other travelers, and there's a great Indian Restaurant across the road.

We stayed just one night, and the room seemed tidy and clean at first. In the morning I spotted little bugs under my pillow. A quick Google search made me realize, to my horror, they were "Cimex lectularius". I called the front desk, and the woman just said sorry. Take a close look before getting into bed here.

The staff were really friendly and caring, and the bedrooms were quiet. The decor in them is dated, though, and the showers are very narrow with a cheap curtain. Breakfast is very basic.
