The breakfast and pool were great, and the staff were super friendly. It's a pet-friendly place in a small town, good for peace and quiet, with important cities and landmarks relatively close by. The area also has little light pollution, which is a bonus if you want to stargaze.

It was such a calm, peaceful holiday, and the owner was a kind, friendly older gentleman. Since the rooms don't all have kitchens, he offered us the use of his kitchen in the main house. Our room had more than we'd expect from a 1☆ hotel, including a huge bathroom, a big shower, and a view of the pool. We could go straight out to the garden and swimming pool. Our dog was very welcome and made two dog friends by the pool, and my girl found children to play with and really liked breakfast. I'd warmly recommend it.

The house sits among olive trees and flowers, with lovely countryside views and a small church practically on the premises. It's beautiful, with a great pool area, lovely light, and a peaceful atmosphere. The owner was extremely kind and hospitable, and the breakfast was delicious. Be sure to try the homemade jarred figs. Fátima sanctuary and the Templary city of Tomar are both about a 25-minute drive away. I enjoyed my stay tremendously and will recommend it and come back whenever I can. The only small things I wasn't keen on were the lack of shampoo, just four TV channels, and no wireless network. What stood out most was the welcoming staff, who made us feel at home. All in all, a good experience.

I rented the house next door for quite a long time, and got to know this lovely little hotel. The owner is very friendly and will help however he can.
