The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed staying two nights at the residencial RAINHA SANTA. But the room had no air conditioning, the TV could have been better, and they didn’t make the beds or change the bath towels. For the price, I think that’s the least they could do. I’ve paid less elsewhere and had better conditions, so I’ll have to think about whether I’d return. Nothing to fault with the staff, but the conditions are another matter. Thanks anyway.
We were 12 couples there on New Year’s Eve. At least our group was put upstairs, where there are only single beds. The rest needs no comment. It’ll do in a pinch, but for many nights, better forget it.
There’s a café below the guesthouse that stays open late on weeknights. It’s 11 at night and they still won’t keep quiet, even though I have to work at 7 tomorrow morning.
The double room had broken heating, an old TV, and faulty lighting. Breakfast was a disaster for the price we paid. I won’t be back.
Such a welcoming atmosphere, with exceptional, down-to-earth people. Simply impeccable, and I’d come again. Thanks to Sr. Rui and all his family.
