Villa Galega

We spent the weekend in the guest house downstairs and had a fantastic time. We've stayed in quite a few places over the year, and this may be the best experience we've had. What stood out most was the location. It's right in central Santa Cruz, on a smaller, quiet street. We left the car unused all weekend, since Cafés, Restaurants, Supermarket, and Beach were at most a 3-minute walk in any direction. The house dates from the early 1900s and was fully renovated in the last couple of years. The design and details are beautiful throughout. We got to see the whole property, including the suites upstairs, and it all looked great. The guest house has three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with shower and toilet. One also has a massive bathtub as well as a separate shower. The bedding is high quality, comparable to a very comfortable hotel. The swimming pool is wonderful and heated to a comfortable temperature, which is especially good for young children. All the best to the people of Villa Galega. We'll be back as soon as possible.

We loved staying here so much that we didn't want to leave. The rooms are stylish and really cozy, and the hostess was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious too, especially the fresh pressed orange juice. The whole place had an amazing feel. We're already looking forward to coming back.

The hostess squeezed fresh orange juice for us each morning, which we loved. Breakfast also had buns, butter, cheese, ham, jam, croissants, müsli, coffee, milk, plant based milk, juice, and tea. There's a small lukewarm pool that's nice in the evening. It's a really cosy, beautiful hotel about a 5-minute walk from the beach. I can highly recommend it.

A beautiful villa, only a short walk from the coast. It was a pleasure staying there, with lovely furnishings throughout, a decent breakfast included, and wonderful staff.
