Apartamento Central

They made me feel really comfortable and looked after. When I asked about vegan breakfast, they bought some extra vegan food, and I could leave my luggage after checkout while I explored the city. The service was so kind. Avenida Central Hostel is right in front of the lake Lima, with the train station at the end of the street. Such a lovely, central hostel, I fully recommend it. :)

Alex, the owner, was welcoming and lovely, thanks so much. The apartment was clean and in a great location, near the train station and everything else, with plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. I'd love to come back and explore more of Viana do Castelo.

This 3-star hotel isn't suitable for disabled people. There's no lift, and we couldn't manage all the stairs up to the fourth floor to check in. They initially refused to refund us, which was disgusting. After we appealed to Booking, they gave us a refund. I've now edited this review in response to the owner's comment.

I had a good stay here. It was a bit different from the kind of apartment I'm used to, but it was bright, clean, and well located. You could sometimes hear some noise from the bar four levels below, though it was only minor for me.
