I don’t recommend it. I told them about a serious, unexpected health problem that had come up, and was shocked by how cold and calculating the person I dealt with seemed. It was a really unpleasant and upsetting experience. There was no willingness at all to find a fair solution for both sides. I learned my lesson: never trust a place that requires full payment upfront.
A terrible experience with the owners after checkout. Shortly after I left, the owner called and accused me of stealing a pillow from one of the bedrooms. Each bed had four regular pillows and two decorative ones. I only sleep with one, so I’d put the others in the wardrobe. I explained that, but he kept insisting the pillows in there had already been there and one was missing. From the conversation, it was obvious he hadn’t even checked the wardrobe yet. After a little more back and forth, with me assuring him all the pillows were there and him keeping an accusatory tone, his wife went to the wardrobe and found them. She picked up the phone, confirmed nothing was missing, and apologized. Being accused straight away of something I hadn’t done was awful. It turned what had been a good stay into a really bad experience I wouldn’t repeat.
Five-star accommodation, and Maria was a five-star host too! Our stay went really well. The city is lovely, and so is the place. A very pleasant experience. I recommend it.
A modern place that’s really pleasant, attractive, and practical. Very well equipped and spacious, practically in the city centre, with parking available on site. The prices were reasonable for the time of year. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back another time.
