The staff were wonderful, and the hotel was comfortable for a very good price. It’s close enough to the riverfront and sights, but away from the crowds. My room was clean, with plenty of outlets and a safe. There’s a lovely pool, though no fitness room. Other guests mentioned thin walls and a lack of privacy, but we didn’t have that problem even with the hotel full. We could hear the Padel & Tennis across the street.

The room looked like the pictures, but there were problems with the stay. The amount on booking didn’t match what they charged at reception, and we had to pay another 30 eur to stay. The wifi wouldn’t work in our room. I checked with reception 2-3 times, but restarting a router didn’t help.

We got there at 630, and the pool and jacuzzi were closing at 7, which isn’t much use for residents. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room either, and you have to pay a euro for the privilege of a coffee in the foyer. Not impressed.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and it’s good value. The double bed is really two twin beds pushed together, so there’s plenty of room, unlike a small US double. It was very hard, though. I liked being able to control the temperature easily and open the windows.

Lovely view and great service. The gym was absolutely horrible, but everything else was close to perfect.
