The rooms are small and don’t have air conditioning, but they were enough for us, and we plan to return. The quinta is a really pleasant, welcoming place, and the staff are very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. There’s a kitchen, bicycles, and a games room to use during your stay. A good experience overall, highly recommended!

The family room was the main disappointment. We had the smallest one, and it got extremely hot because it gets sun all day and the granite holds the heat. We had to sleep with the air conditioning running constantly. To feel comfortable, we had to keep the curtains closed and the light on, since there’s no window and no way to air out the room. Skylights (velux) in the rooms in the auxiliary building could let in daylight and fresh air. Breakfast could also be much better. The products are basic, and it doesn’t match the hotel’s overall quality. The Hotel Quinta de São Sebastião itself is spectacular. The facilities, pool and gardens are very well cared for, and the team is kind and professional. I hope these comments help improve the hotel even more. Best regards.

It feels like a quinta that’s been turned into a hotel, with a fairly large parking area and gates that are closed at night. The place is calm and peaceful, about 15m from Viana do Castelo, and has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere that’s great for resting. The decor is different from the usual, and looks top. Breakfast starts at 7h. I recommend it!

This carefully adapted old Quinta is a charming, high-quality hotel where you feel your stay is worth every cent. There are lots of extras at no added cost for guests: a games room, music room, TV room, reading room, pool, indoor football/tennis court, bicycles for a ride, and a barbecue area. It’s 15 minutes from Viana do Castelo. Leave the traditional hotel chains for the big cities and choose places like this, where you feel important and can enjoy peace and quiet. I wish I’d known how much I’d like it, so I could’ve extended my stay. It’s well worth the experience!
