The apartment doesn’t justify its price of €1800 a week. It isn’t 80 square meters as advertised, and the bathroom is tiny for the cost, with no separate toilet. The bedroom shown in the listing has bedside lamps, but they weren’t there. The sink counter is damaged, and there are no shower photos in the ad. The shower is tucked behind the door and is so small that it explains why. The shower’s electrical setup seems convenient, but I’m not sure it meets code and it could be dangerous. It looks like a DIY job. The temperature is impossible to control: one moment the water is scalding, the next it’s freezing. A child could get burned, and washing your hair is impossible under those conditions. For this price, the refrigerator and range hood in the kitchen should be newer, and the light doesn’t work. We were also supposedly assigned parking space number 3, but the same car parked there every day.

Andre takes care of every detail in this fantastic apartment, which made for a great holiday in Viana do Castelo. It’s close to Cabedelo beach, where you can enjoy water and wind sports. Highly recommended.
