I stayed there several times when I was a kid. It’s still one of the best places I’ve been.

The bedrooms are quite old and not very comfortable, and the living room is small with old furniture. Each room does have its own bathroom, though they’re very small. The kitchen is well equipped with two fridges and some appliances, but there isn’t much crockery for the number of guests the house can accommodate. There’s plenty to enjoy outside, including a pool, tennis and football courts, a barbecue, billiards, table football, kayaks and pedal boats, plus access to a good river beach with a dam. The location and facilities are really good. I’d pick it for a weekend with friends, but wouldn’t recommend it for families with small children because of the bedroom setup.
