Really good value, with a clean, nice room and a friendly owner. The only drawback is how far it is from anything interesting. Expect long drives on winding mountain roads, but that didn't put us off.

There's plenty of room to unwind on the terrace, in the garden or in the lounge, and the host was very helpful, even letting us check in early. The hostal sits on a main road, so some traffic and noise from the cafe downstairs are to be expected, though it wasn't too much. The setting is very picturesque, the kitchen is well equipped, and the beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but the shower water wasn't very hot. Highly recommend.

The shared kitchen is pretty well equipped, and there's a mini mercado downstairs with a little cafe and restaurant next door. It's also close to a lovely river beach. The place is simple and clean, and the people running it are so friendly. Great value for money.

A local family runs this cozy hostel, and there's a very complete minimarket and a café in the same building. The AC works well, and there is plenty of free parking out front.
