Everything was very nice for the price, and the service was very good. The lady at reception was super nice. The view was beautiful, and there were two lovely pools, one indoors and one outside.

The place is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Set on a hillside above the river, it has lush forest around it and not many houses nearby. Several buildings with rooms and facilities are arranged around the great outdoor pool, which gets plenty of sun and has lots of loungers. There’s also an indoor pool with superb views, a nice option for colder days. Breakfast is included and served buffet-style. Lunch and dinner are available from menus, with advance reservations. The menus are varied and good value. WiFi and TV with many international channels are available too.

We booked a superior room with a balcony and river view, and the views from both the balcony and garden were breathtaking. The room was large and spotless, with a super comfortable bed, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff went out of their way to help make our stay perfect. The road down to the property is steep, but the stay was so worth it. We had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave.

The lunch and dinner options are amazing, with good food for the price. The staff are super friendly too. It feels like a little paradise in the mountain scenery, a place to consider if you want to rest in the heart of Gerês.

The €20 menu is absolutely worth it. It’s a beautiful place to relax, and the staff are friendly and nice. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!
