I really liked the pool area and balcony, and the location and view are amazing. The service needs to improve, though. The people at reception could have been a bit nicer, breakfast didn't have much variety, and the rooms weren't cleaned. You have to ask for fresh towels.

The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, but there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the lobby. The sheets were not clean at all, and the plumbing wasn't good either.

The family cottage was spacious, clean and fully equipped, and the clean pool was a fun addition. The place is green, with a pond, and well maintained, so it was lovely being out in nature. It's about 30 minutes from Braga, in the mountains by the river, and you can swim in the river too. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had plenty to choose from: pastries, eggs, bread, coffee and juice. It was a little hard to work out where to turn off the main road to get to the hotel, so I'd suggest adding more signs. Just a heads up, the swing in the playground is loose. The Wi-Fi is slow, which makes it a good spot to relax and disconnect.
