The rooms are modern and the location is good. Still, we had to wait for the room card, and nobody picked up when we called. There was no shower gel either. The soundproofing is poor enough that I could hear every car going past, even with earplugs in.

Our room looked out over the river, and it was nice and quiet. The hotel has a restaurant where we ate very well, with delicious food. Really recommend it.

There’s a nice river view, and the hotel is near a bridge with love locks. It has recently been refurbished and is in excellent shape. The double glazing keeps the road noise out when the windows are shut, and the blackout curtains work very well. The rooms are on the small side, though, and the bathroom has only a shower, which worked fine. There’s a dining room, but it wasn’t being used, so there was no breakfast. Our room had air conditioning but no remote for it. Also, there’s no reception or anyone available to talk to if you need help.

We asked for extra pillows and the staff were so helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and made great use of its small space. The shower had strong pressure, and the towels were lovely and soft. We were happy with our stay.

The food is well prepared, with a good range to choose from, and the wine list is okay. It’s my favourite among the good restaurants on this street. The decor is lovely, and it’s usually quiet and very comfortable. A great pick for a peaceful, tasty meal.
