We stayed one night while walking the Camino. The host was lovely, and the place was very clean. Restaurants are nearby.

My vacation turned into a nightmare. There was no hot water, even after I asked, and the hostess ignored me, so I had to take a cold shower. Then I came back one day to find all the electronic devices gone. The hostess had removed them from the apartment. I tried reaching her several times without success and also informed the police. Never again!

I spent four days at this hostel and had a great stay. It's cozy and well located, close enough to walk anywhere in vila do conde. The owner is polite, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand. I'm recommending it to friends who are coming to visit. Five stars.

Quiet place with lovely decor. You can get an artistic breakfast here, too.
