The apartment was noisy, right in the central restaurant square, and it only quieted down around 02h00. The foosball tables are outside, which brought teenagers over to play at 05h00 on two occasions. The appliances looked as if they’d been salvaged from the trash. When the water heater worked, it was frightening, and it provided only a tiny amount of hot water. I don’t plan to return.

It used to be better. In September 2017, I stayed in an apartment where the air conditioning hadn’t been maintained for years and had a pigeon nest in it. The balcony hadn’t been cleaned and smelled of pigeons, so I had to use a liter of bleach.

The staff could be friendlier and should take special requests more seriously. They completely ignored mine and wouldn’t make an exception when I said I couldn’t eat a particular ingredient.
