Quinta da Bornacha

We loved everything, from the house to Sr. João. He was so friendly and helpful, even when we ran into car trouble. The kitchen is equipped, the bed was comfortable, and there are loungers by the pool that we could use whenever we liked. We'll definitely be back later this year!

This has been my favorite holiday spot for the past four years. The facilities are comfortable, and the charming quinta is a peaceful break from the busy city. Dr. João is always kind and available. My young children and I loved having such a safe outdoor space where they had so much freedom. I recommend it!

The quiet, the nature, and the nearby beach and shops are what keep bringing me back. I’ve spent my holidays here for three years now, and I’m always happy while I’m here. The accommodation is lovely, and the host is so kind and thoughtful. I leave already looking forward to next year, with more good memories of this place. Thank you for creating it.

We expected a peaceful stay, but the problems started at arrival. Even though our dates were clearly booked, the owner, Sr. João, didn’t seem to know we were coming. He gave us four incorrect codes before the fifth one worked. The house hadn’t been cleaned: there was sand on the floor and crumbs on both the kitchen and outdoor tables. The pool water stayed cloudy, with green growth on the bottom, and it was never filtered. The owner also spent a lot of time around us, as if he were part of our group, and kept interrupting us with little messages. We later noticed cameras throughout the house. He seemed friendly at first, but his presence became intrusive and left us feeling that our privacy was compromised. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. The service was intrusive, almost abusive.
