It feels like a time capsule. The hotel is kept up well, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable, though it’s a world away from what you’d expect at a big hotel chain. Breakfast is more than enough, especially the coffee. Great value for the price.

The elderly owner is very kind and pleasant, but the rooms badly need renovating. Everything feels old. The bathroom has water leaks, the front door handle is coming loose, the light switches wobble, and the shower door barely slides now.

The mattress was very hard, the hotel wasn’t very clean, and there were stains on the white blankets. The place is shabby, with a TV from the 70s!! I won’t even get into the air conditioning. We booked for two adults and three children, but got three single beds and a camping bed. The hotel is as old as its owner, just as old!!! Honestly, it’s lucky this is the only hotel, because otherwise I’d have left long ago. For a 3-star hotel, it feels more like 3 stars minus than plus 3 stars.
