7g Roaster Apartments

Came by on the weekend to unwind with a good coffee and liked the place more than expected. It's cute, trendy, and has a great vibe. The staff are really friendly, and the manager was very kind. Just so you know, laptops aren't allowed on weekends.

We stopped in this morning for breakfast at cafe 7g roaster. The cafe has a contemporary look, plenty of seating inside and out, and a welcoming staff with a good vibe. We had eggs Benedict, a granola and fruit yoghurt bowl, and a cappuccino each. They also serve pastries, eggs royale and florentine. Prices seemed good for the tourist centre, and they have a sustainable coffee focus. Well worth a breakfast visit in Porto. The apartments are just up an alley from the riverfront, so they're tucked away and quiet while still close to the heart of the city.

The rooms are spacious and fully equipped, and we really liked the location just behind the waterfront. The main town is about a 20 minute walk across the bridge. The coffee shop downstairs is great too, so do yourself a favour and have breakfast there.

We spent our final night in Portugal here. The room was spotless and looked lovely, with a small kitchen that had a stove, microwave and fridge. The washroom was clean and the shower was big. We mentioned at check-in that our early flight meant we'd miss breakfast, and the receptionist said they'd leave us a basket. We hadn't expected them to bring everything they'd normally serve for breakfast, so it was a very nice surprise. We were grateful. We'd absolutely recommend the place and its cafe, and would love to stay again on our next trip to Porto.
