Lola's Guest House was spotless and had a comfortable, home-like feel. For the price, I hadn’t expected such a nice place by the ocean. It’s near the Metro, just a few stops from tourist attractions, shops, cafés, and restaurants. With the private entrances, it feels like you’re renting the whole place. My only downside was the translucent bathroom door, which made the toilet visible from the room. We managed to cover the window with a towel. Lola is very friendly and has a great personality. Thanks, I’d definitely recommend Lola's Guest House.

The place was quiet and clean, near the subway and the best bakery, O Gato. Such a sweet lady! Her son Bruno speaks English and stays up late in case you need anything. She even returned my laundry folded and nicely laid out on the bed. I loved it here, truly recommend! 🔝👌🏻🥂

This sounds unreal, but I booked two nights from the UK and asked whether a smoking room might be possible. Mr. Bruno, apparently the owner's son, sent me two messages right away. First he said they didn't have smoking rooms, then said my booking would be canceled. I was surprised and emailed back that it was fine, I could smoke outside, and I was coming for work, not to smoke. He replied that my booking had been canceled and I’d have to find somewhere else, end of story. That's the customer service here, ladies and gents. Thank goodness Portugal isn't Lolla's house, and this is one place to avoid among the ten. There are about 200 other hotels around Porto centre, and other people have got by in business. It seems Bruno may be the end of Lolla's Guesthouse.

Everything in the room was new and clean, and the price was very good. The location worked well too. I’d definitely come back, probably one of the best Airbnb in Porto.
