I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It was the worst meal I had in Portugal. The food was awful: the so-called "tiger prawns" weren't real tiger prawns, the asparagus was overcooked, and the rice was swimming in what looked like cheap, poor-quality oil. They also take cash only. The prices are what you'd expect at a good restaurant, but the quality certainly isn't. Milfontes deserves better than a place like this.

The octopus and mussels were outstanding, and everything else we tried was excellent too. We liked it enough to come back twice. The staff were warm and knew a lot about gluten allergies, so there were plenty of safe choices and we felt well looked after. Highly recommend it.

We shared several small plates between the two of us, almost like tapas, and it worked really well for dinner. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I can definitely recommend this place.

The local dishes were great, and they also have good gluten-free and vegan options. I tried a traditional rice and fish dish, and even the rice was sourced from Portugal, which I thought was incredible. The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Dinner was delicious, and the service was excellent. Mr. Flávio, who looked after our table, made the meal feel both pleasant and fun.
