A lovely find in the historic center, with attractions, cafes, and restaurants an easy 5-10 minute walk away. It’s a rare chance to stay in a beautiful, grand historic building that the same family has lovingly maintained for decades. The senhora and her staff are welcoming and helpful.

The lady-owner greets you herself, and the service is splendid. The family hotel is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden and swimming pool, plus a nice breakfast. Set in the quiet city center, it’s an ideal base for exploring the region.

A cozy spot in a beautiful town, though somewhat expensive for the average Portuguese income.
