Christine is so friendly and attentive, and the apartment is spacious, lovely, and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, and the big kitchen had plenty of utensils and more than enough appliances. It’s a peaceful spot with beautiful surroundings, ideal for relaxing. I also found it a great base for exploring different parts of Peneda-Gerês National Park. There aren’t shops or restaurants in the village itself, but Terras de Bouro, with a supermarket, cafés, and restaurants, is only five minutes away. There are lots of nearby places to walk a dog, and the house has a large garden where you can enjoy the fresh air with your pet. A great place to stay in this beautiful part of Portugal.

I was walking the Camino and stayed here for one night. My hostess even drove me to Terras de Bouro for dinner and picked me up afterward, which made me feel right at home. The breakfast was lovely, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The house is a real gem. Christine, the French owner, has decorated it with exquisite taste, and you really feel like the guest comes first. A perfect stay, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was cozy and clean, and we loved the decor, especially the little wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There are hiking trails nearby, and we enjoyed one in Peneda-Gerês National Park. Thank you, Christine!
