Antiga "Casa do Porco"

The village is peaceful but still very close to town, which worked ideally for us. Every room has air conditioning, the beds were impeccable, and everything was spotless. Mr. Dias gave us a really warm welcome and was very helpful. Excellent.

We had a great stay in this imperfect but lovely house, and I’d happily recommend it if you’re not looking for perfection. The neighborhood was welcoming, there’s an excellent restaurant right nearby, and the host’s father was incredibly kind and helpful. The rustic front looks airy, and the place is comfortable overall. The wood stove works perfectly, and there are oil heaters in both bedrooms and the living room. Hot water from the 50-litre tank had great pressure, though showers need to be quick. One issue: when the tank, electric stove and heaters were on together, the power tripped, so a stronger electrical panel might be needed. A few walls could also use some care. Still, my stay was perfect in its own imperfect way 🤗

The owners are very friendly, and the house is cozy in a quiet neighborhood. It’s handy for a night or a few days, with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, fridge, and living room with TV, Wi-Fi and fireplace.

A welcoming place that mixes modern touches with a traditional feel. The host was warm and friendly, and the person responsible for the house was attentive and showed real care in looking after us.
