Camping Villa Park Zambujeira do Mar

We stayed in our tent in a quiet spot with good pitches (see 1 photo). The village nearby is very nice (see 2 photos), and the location works well for the Fishermens trail. You can pick up basic food at the market to make your own meals, and the restaurant was fine too. It was especially handy for charging our phones.

The toilets and showers were kept in really good shape, and there’s a supermarket and small restaurant right at the campsite. We visited with a tent in February and thought the place was lovely. The tent area was clean, while the caravan spots had nice bushes around them. It’s a five-minute walk outside the city, though you can take the camp shuttle to the beach. There are public fireplaces for grilling, and you can do laundry as well.

For one man and one tent it was 10 euros, with hot showers, decent bathrooms, and laundry and cleaning areas. The campsite is nicely spread out, and you can find quieter places for tents. No complaints from me. Just keep in mind it’s a 15-minute walk to town and the beach.

Really clean, well-managed campsite, with good security. The shop is excellent and very well stocked, and the indoor swimming pool was the best I’ve been in. There’s a handy shuttle to the beach for 1.50, though you can easily walk to the village too. I’d highly recommend it 😊
