We were told breakfast would be free, then at check-in they said it wouldn’t be provided. That was disappointing, and the communication was poor. The rooms were clean, and the place had only recently opened. Front desk staff were friendly. Most were Filipino or Chinese; some of the Chinese staff didn’t speak English, which could make communication difficult.

Back in August 2022, the food had lost a lot of its flavor compared with before the pandemic. It was sad to see a once-good place fall off like that. Before that, I thought it was probably the best spot for Chinese cuisine in Palau. The food was authentic and classic, with more of a Sichuan and Hunan flavor, so expect spicy dishes.

A great choice for travelers on a budget, and worth every penny. The front desk was super helpful. Those receptionists deserve a raise :)

The worst experience I’ve had. A lot of things were damaged, the service was substandard, and the Chinese staff were unfriendly. Strongly don’t recommend staying here. It wasn’t worth it.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but the Chinese food restaurant is great. If you’re into seafood, this is a place to try.
