Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The food was excellent, and the building is beautiful. The staff always made us feel welcome, and the stay was very comfortable. Most rooms have a great river view, and the third-floor rooms have balconies. Rooms 308 and 310 are especially nice. The first-floor rooms only get indirect light and don't have fresh air. I can highly recommend staying here, and Miss Rosario for massages. Thanks, we'll definitely come back.

The rooftop pool was lovely, and breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and polite, and our room had good amenities, a great shower, handy outlets for chargers, and a good AC unit. It was also nice to leave some of our luggage at the hotel for a week while we travelled around the rest of the country.

The Wi-Fi, beds, A/C, breakfast, and showers were all fantastic, and the hotel itself is beautiful. We had a great week in Paraguay, though the first day was very noisy because of a holiday. Then, on the second day, construction workers doing renovations on the patio started at 6am, which was insane. I complained and they moved me to another floor, where it was much better. Recommended!

The central area of Asunción may feel less lively or polished than you'd hope, but Palmaroga itself is a gem, and its street is among the best around there, relatively speaking. The historic charm works beautifully alongside the modern amenities. The courtyard, with its elegant arches and all that light, was especially lovely for relaxing. Our room was comfortable and well furnished, and the decor throughout felt stylish and welcoming. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was good quality. Service was excellent, with attentive staff the whole time. We were very happy with our stay.
