Paramanta Lifestyle Hotel

On my first trip to Paraguay, this place felt like an oasis. The property is gorgeous and full of plants, with a pool that has a waterfall. Staff were warm and patient with visitors who don't speak Spanish, and the complimentary breakfast was lovely and always left me satisfied. There are convenient restaurant options in-house, too. It's VERY central, close to restaurants, modern grocery stores, and major malls where you can exchange currency and get physical sim cards. This will be my go-to hotel in Asuncion.

The owners and staff go out of their way to make guests comfortable. A really great place.

The room was spacious, and breakfast came in generous portions. We found the hotel tucked away from the city's dust and noise, even though it's right in the center, almost like a little island. The cook is good if you decide to have dinner there too. It's a cozy spot, and I'll probably return.

Getting here from the airport is easy, about US$3 by Uber or taxi, and the hotel is only minutes away in a very safe part of Asunción. There's a 24 hour Super Seis market and restaurants right across the street. The price felt fair for such an elegant, five star place, with a pool and a breakfast to die for. We were impressed by the value and the superior service from management and the front desk team. Our room had just about everything, including remote controls for the air conditioner, and cable TV. The high speed internet worked just fine. The rooms are comfortable, with high quality mattresses and linens, plus comfortable seating outside the door overlooking the tropical style swimming pool and poolside dining area. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. I put PT on my list of top destinations while visiting Paraguay and this part of South America.
