For a graduation party that cost over 15K QAR, I expected much better professionalism and organization. The whole experience felt underprepared, stressful, and embarrassing in front of my guests. Communication was unclear from the outset. We repeatedly asked about early check-in and heard “we’ll try our best,” only to find out later it wasn't possible. Guest ID and check-in rules also weren't explained beforehand, so people arrived expecting to go straight to the villa and instead encountered surprise procedures at reception. The villa looked beautiful, but the pool seemed worn and poorly maintained, with visible dark spots and damage. Privacy was a serious concern: staff and event team members came in through the front and back multiple times without knocking, ringing, or notifying us. We were told outside food wasn't allowed, which pushed us toward one of the more expensive buffet choices. Later, we learned outside food could be brought in, so the information had been inconsistent. We were promised staff would serve the buffet professionally, but the service was disorganized. Some staff were unfriendly and unapproachable, and seemed unwilling to help with simple things like pouring water properly or assisting guests politely. We couldn't bring our own DJ equipment, but the hotel speaker was poor and barely audible. When we asked for another, we were told all the others were unavailable. Golf cart pickup was also badly handled. Some guests waited 30-40 minutes even though the villa was close to reception, and one eventually walked alone after no assistance arrived. Several arrangements we'd discussed in advance, including extra hangers and table setup changes, were later dismissed as “not noted.” Staff need much better organization and communication. Given Maysan's reputation and prices, I expected a far higher level of hospitality and service.

The spa was a highlight, quiet and relaxing, just right for a peaceful break. The pool was warm and enjoyable, and the hotel itself was beautiful and very comfortable. Service was fast and truly exceptional. Being able to order through Talabat and have everything delivered to the hotel was convenient too. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Maysan Doha ✨

The place felt peaceful, like a private oasis, and the room was beautiful with high-end amenities that made the stay feel special. My family and I had a lovely time and came away feeling recharged. Staff were helpful and professional throughout. The facilities were top notch, and dining was fantastic, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for a world-class stay in Qatar.
