The water was the biggest problem: at times the cold tap ran very hot, and at other times both hot and cold stopped completely. I had to wait around a minute for it to come back, which is awful if you've got shampoo in your eyes. The bathroom window had a mosquito screen, but it was ripped. The place looked dirty in general, and the room felt very gloomy. Its only window was tall and narrow, beside the door. There wasn't anywhere decent to leave luggage, so I put mine on a tiny chair rather than risk setting it on the floor. Storage was just as limited: a small table occupied by the TV, a little nightstand with a lamp, and a wall mounted drawer without shelves. That drawer held a blanket and a few foul smelling towels. The unveneered MDF walls didn't help the room feel any better. At least the twin bed room was a decent size, and the bedding didn't stink like the towels did. The restaurant smelled awful too. The decorative fishnets seemed old and dirty, though they didn't smell of fish, and I couldn't bring myself to eat there. I saw towels and laundry drying outside, with the lines on the porch right in front of the rooms. A few wasps were flying around, so there's probably a nest somewhere nearby. To reach the pool you go through the restaurant, and there was no shower before swimming unless you wanted to walk through the restaurant wet. That wasn't much of a concern since nobody was eating there. There was no toilet anywhere except in the room. The location wasn't great either. The website says the beach is 300m away, but it's actually over 600m, about a 10 minute walk. This was my worst lodging experience.
