The food was pretty good, but the service was low quality, the staff seemed undertrained and there weren’t enough of them. The cleaning was poor too.

For what I paid, it was perfectly decent.

Absolutely horrifying!

The beach was one of the worst parts. It’s about 500 meters away across open ground and a railway, which felt especially worrying with children. On my first day I saw at least five trains and a blue arrow speed past. There was algae in the water and along the shore, too. Even with all-inclusive, drinks and snacks are only free near the hotel. If you want a beer at the beach bar, you have to cross back over the railway, walk the 500 meters, then head back to the algae-covered shore. Getting to the hotel is awkward as well. The last 800 meters from the main road are one way, full of potholes, and when cars meet coming the other way, both drivers have to get out and move into the field. At the entrance, a security guard asked whether we were staying and said keeping the car safe would cost us some “attention.” The parking area was gravel and full of holes, so we had to carry our trolley to the hotel. Inside, the entrance door creaked and the floor felt like wooden pallets under an old, stained carpet. In our first room, there were crumbs by the nightstand, a frozen Pepsi can in the minibar, and a live mosquito on the pillow, with two more on the wall. The headboard was stained and the pillowcases dirty, so we changed rooms. The next room had spiders and mosquitoes, a broken dressing mirror glued with shells, a table with only two of its four wheels, and linen that needed changing again. We’re still waiting for the promised pillowcases and the slippers that should be there at the start of a stay. I’ll post photos. Honestly, don’t come here, you’ll regret it.
