The fish dishes were the standout for me, especially the Storceag, a rich, flavorful traditional soup made with fresh local fish. The other fish meals, from soups to grilled options, were cooked really well too. The food overall celebrates local flavors. The setting by Lake Tatlageac is peaceful, with lovely views over the water. I liked the terrace for a relaxed meal or a glass of wine at sunset, and there are charming bungalows and a clean, well-kept pool around the property. The hosts and staff were kind and attentive, which made the visit feel welcoming. There are 16 comfortable duplex rooms, which seem suited to couples or families wanting to get away from the city and spend time in nature. Whether you come for a meal or a longer stay, it feels like a lakeside retreat I’d want to return to.
