We came for the restaurant, not an overnight stay. The four of us shared a very large chocolate pancake for dessert, a nice way to finish the meal. We ordered soups, fish roe, and two platters with different selections, and the platters were polished off. The whelk was so good we could have fought over it. I preferred the seafood soup to the fish meatball soup, it had a lot more flavor.

I can’t speak to the hotel, but we’ve tried a lot of food here and think the restaurant is the best. The seafood platter lets you sample different dishes, and the mussels and rapa welk in aromatic sauce were the best food I’ve ever had. The seafood soup is amazing, so tasty, while the fishball soup is decent. We also liked the service, and being right on the beach is a huge plus. Please go and try it. Best food in Romania.

The fish dishes are the best in the country, always fresh and cooked well. If you’re nearby, don’t miss this place. I recommend it.

The beach isn’t much bigger than in most photos, and the sea is now very far away, so don’t count on sitting with a sea view. Still, the location is great and the food is amazing. I especially recommend the mussels. It gets quite crowded, so book ahead if you want to sit outside.
