Apartament Carolina Parc

We ended up in apartment 14B, although our reservation had been for a different apartment in a fairly new complex. On check-in day, the site administrator, Corina, called and said Booking had duplicated the reservation. She offered us this place instead and said it was better than what we’d booked, but that didn’t turn out to be true. The listed price for 14B was much lower than what we had paid for that day. The apartment had serious cleanliness issues in both the kitchen and bathroom. The stove and oven were covered in oil, and the kitchen items felt greasy and sticky. There was dust and oily residue on the kitchen baseboards. The furniture was damaged and hadn’t been sanitized. The wooden toilet seat had peeling paint, the bathroom mirror had broken corners, and there were hairs in the unsanitized hair dryer. The shower had no doors, and its missing seal was leaning against the wall, even though the photos on the site showed doors. There’s no accessibility ramp, and the stairs in the building are awful. Parking is only available in paid lots, not close to the building. At first, my conversation with Corina was fine. After I explained the problems, she became verbally aggressive and blocked my number. I reported the issue to Booking.
