After an exhausting trip, I was trying to find somewhere for my family to rest in Albac. Before booking, we checked the site and confirmed late check-in was allowed. Since it was already 11 pm, we also called the owner to make sure they knew we'd just booked. But when we arrived at midnight, we weren't allowed to check in. A man met us outside the property, said it was too late, and insisted we hadn't called the owner, only someone connected to them. We had called the number Booking.com provided. The discussion was unpleasant and unprofessional, so we left.

The rooms were clean, the owners very friendly, and breakfast was an excellent traditional meal. I'd recommend staying here.

The rooms feel a little retro, but they're clean. It's got what you need for a night on the road.

Comfortable bed, and there's a bath in the room. The kitchen has no kettle, though. The best part is the mountain setting, with the village itself more of a hamlet, like the other places in these mountains. Fine for a night or two.
