I've stayed here at least twice a year for the past five years, and it still feels like the best choice when crossing the border the next day. The staff keep trying, but don't manage to get things right. The kitchen gets orders wrong, loud parties go on at night and leave you with little sleep, and the reception staff seem poorly trained for a hotel with these pretensions.

For our short family stay, being far from the city center wasn't an issue, and I'd definitely book Ibis Arad again. Our family room was huge and very clean, and I can recommend it to families. We stayed one night.

The breakfast is small but good, and there are plenty of business advantages. It can be a little pricey, though advance reservations make the cost okay. This is very much a business hotel.

The rooms are spacious and have an interesting design, and the restaurant downstairs is good and popular. It's also close to the highway, making it a handy place to stop and take a break while travelling.
