The view from the window is beautiful, and the location is nice. But the food was poor, really overpriced, and felt like canteen-level quality. We paid 140 lei for two soups, a salad, and a coffee. If the food had been good, that price wouldn't have bothered me. Be prepared for this if you plan to eat there.
We spent one night here in October and, as the only guests, had a great stay. The food and service were good, and the prices for food, drinks, and the rest were favorable.
We stopped for coffee or beer, and that would be a good idea, but I wouldn't eat here. The hotel is in an amazing location and the staff were nice. We tried three soups: ciorba de perisoare, ciorba de burta, and ciorba de vacuta. None seemed fresh, and the meat in the ciorba de perisoare had a strange color. A family had warned us that the food wasn't good, but we decided to try it ourselves. Honestly, the soup I cook and keep in the fridge for a week is fresher than the one I had here. I don't recommend eating there.
A terrible experience. The food was well below average. I think even fast food is more luxurious and higher quality than this restaurant. The staff made this my worst experience in all of Romania, across many restaurants. Food from the roadside or a hot dog would be better value than eating here. Avoid this place.
We stopped for coffee and honey and nut pancakes. The place was clean, the dessert was good, and the service was fine. They took Visa.
