The restaurant had a good selection and we really enjoyed the food, so we’d happily return. During our Transfăgărășan trip, everything else went smoothly too: parking was easy right outside, check-in was quick, and the desk staff upgraded us at no charge to a lovely lake-view room. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well in summer. Breakfast was good as well. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

We reached the place late on a rainy night, so we were just glad to find somewhere to stay and ended up enjoying the spa. Since a large group had booked all the rooms, we got an apartment for the standard-room price. It was quiet, and the pool was very nice. The saunas were good too, though the jacuzzi was cold and partly out of order. The rooms themselves are simple. The location is fantastic, and we had fun playing billiards and hockey. Dinner was fine, while breakfast was basic and nothing special.

We only dropped in for a quick coffee at Hotel Posada, but the friendly staff made us feel so welcome that we’re thinking of coming back to rent a room. The mountain setting was peaceful and the view was breathtaking. Even the bathrooms stood out, spotless and smelling lovely. We didn’t stay overnight this time, but the atmosphere and hospitality left a great impression. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The staff were so kind and polite, and the hotel has a really good range of facilities. I had a very nice stay and would recommend the place. The rooms could use some work, especially the bathrooms, which show their age. Still, it’s an amazing place.
