I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Although the building looked decent outside, it was in terrible shape inside. The rooms felt old, dirty, and gross, with dirt marks all over the walls. There were no working lights on most of the floors, so I had to use my phone flashlight to reach the top floor. The walls were paper thin, and I couldn’t sleep because I could hear everything from every direction. The room even shook when people walked around. One room had no hot water, so I had to shower in freezing water. The soap bottle was disgusting, the toilet kept running, and the sewage smell was awful. In the other rooms we had, there was no running water at all. The key only worked from outside at first, but that was fixed fairly quickly. A sign outside said 80RON per room, but we paid 100RON per room.

I can't recommend this accommodation at all. The price listed online was 60 RON/night, the entrance showed 80 RON/night, and they asked us for 100 RON/night. We weren't given a receipt or invoice either. Inside, the room felt cheap, and the door didn't close properly or lock from the inside because of the key. We could hear the hallway and neighboring rooms clearly through the thin walls. There was no warm water, and water leaked onto the bathroom floor from both the shower and toilet. The bathroom also smelled disgusting, some lights didn't work, and the whole stay was disappointing. One star feels deserved.

The worst part was how dangerous the attic felt. On our first day, while we were in the front yard, pieces of the house wall fell right behind me. One hit my foot, and another came within a few inches of my head. The owner showed up ten minutes later and stuck the pieces back on with what looked like cheap glue. I stayed in the attic, where the floor shook whenever we walked around, and the rooms were constantly very hot despite having only a small ceiling window. There was no hot water at night or in the morning, only around 1 PM. I rarely complain about hotels, but this was really bad. Don't stay overnight.

The lack of heat was a real problem, especially since we were travelling with an infant and a small child. When we told the large, unpleasant peasant lady, she just said “too bad.” The room was tiny, cold, gross, and had uncomfortable beds. It smelled of old beer and sewage, and the TV didn't work. The restaurant was closed, and chained dogs barked all night. The handrails weren't secured to anything. There were also a bunch of drunks outside at the little store all evening. This was by far the worst and most expensive place we stayed during our trips across the country. There are plenty of other lodgings in the area, and I can't see how they get away with this. It isn't suitable for any decent human being. I could only give one star to post this review, but I'd give less if I could.
